Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra have not released a song together, and there is no announced film, show, or project featuring both of them. The real connection between Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra is a song called “APT.” — Bruno Mars’s hit with Rosé, which Priyanka Chopra has said is her daughter Malti Marie’s favourite song, played every morning.
That one detail explains why the two names keep appearing together in searches. It is not a collaboration, a relationship, or a joint project. It is a family favourite song, a television interview, and a concert moment that fans shared online. Understanding each career separately gives a clearer picture of who Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra are, and why their names attract interest together.

Who Is Bruno Mars?
Bruno Mars, born Peter Gene Hernandez on 8 October 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii, is an American singer-songwriter known for pop, R&B, funk and soul, and for high-energy live shows with his band, the Hooligans.
He first broke through as a featured vocalist on B.o.B’s “Nothin’ on You” in 2009. His solo hits since then include “Just the Way You Are”, “Grenade”, “Locked Out of Heaven”, “Uptown Funk” and “That’s What I Like”.
Bruno Mars’s Career and Music
Bruno Mars built his career through songwriting, performance, and collaboration. He is known as much for writing and producing for other artists as for his own chart hits, and his live shows are a central part of his reputation.
In 2024, he released two major duets: “Die with a Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT.” with Rosé. It is “APT.” that matters most for this story, because it is the Bruno Mars song that entered Priyanka Chopra’s family life — not through a project with Priyanka, but through her daughter’s taste in music.
Who Is Priyanka Chopra?
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, born 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, India, is an Indian actress, producer and singer who won Miss World 2000. She moved from Bollywood hits including Krrish, Don, Fashion and Barfi! to headline the American series Quantico from 2015 to 2018, and later starred in Citadel and Heads of State.
She married singer Nick Jonas in December 2018, and their daughter Malti Marie was born in January 2022.
Priyanka Chopra’s Career and Acting
Priyanka Chopra’s career illustrates a move from Indian cinema to international television and film, and then to producing. Rather than becoming known through one industry alone, she has built a profile across Bollywood and Hollywood, with acting, producing, and public appearances in both.
Her personal life is also part of why fans follow her closely. Her marriage to Nick Jonas, and her public comments about their daughter, are often shared widely online — which is exactly how the “APT.” detail travelled so fast.
What Connects Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra?
The most evident connection between Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra is “APT.”, the collaboration between BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars, released on 18 October 2024.
The song debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, later peaked at No. 3, and by June 2025 had spent 34 weeks on the chart — reported at the time as the longest-charting K-pop song on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. Read more about APT. on the Billboard chart.
So when people hear “Bruno Mars” in this story, they are hearing the voice on “APT.” — not a new song with Priyanka Chopra.
In June 2025, Priyanka Chopra appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon while promoting Heads of State. Talking about her daughter Malti Marie, then aged three, she said “APT” is her favourite song, played every morning, and called it their “morning song”. In the same interview, she shared that Malti calls her father Nick Jonas’s band, the Jonas Brothers, the “Donut Brothers”.
This is the strongest, most direct link in the whole story, because it comes from Priyanka herself, on camera, rather than from a rumour or a fan theory.
A month later, in July 2025, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas attended BLACKPINK’s concert in New York, part of the group’s DEADLINE World Tour. Priyanka shared videos from the night on Instagram, including a moment where she and Nick sang and danced to “APT.”, again noting that it is their daughter’s favourite song. She wrote that she was “winning brownie points with Malti Marie”. She also praised BLACKPINK member Lisa, writing: “What a queen.”
That concert clip is why many fans now associate Priyanka Chopra with a Bruno Mars song, even though Bruno Mars was not performing with her, and the performance on stage was BLACKPINK’s.
There is also one older, separate link. In May 2016, at the ABC Upfront event in New York, Priyanka Chopra performed a medley that included Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk” alongside Prince’s “Kiss”. That was a stage performance of an existing hit, not a collaboration with Bruno Mars. It shows, though, that Bruno Mars’s music has been part of Priyanka’s public performances for years — long before “APT.”.
Comparing Their Careers
Bruno Mars’s career demonstrates the importance of songwriting, vocal performance, and live entertainment. His progression through hit singles, collaborations, and sold-out shows reflects years of work in music.
Priyanka Chopra’s career demonstrates a different approach to international fame. Her background combines film acting with television, producing, and public influence across two major entertainment industries.
Neither career follows exactly the same model. Bruno Mars’s work centres on music and performance, while Priyanka Chopra’s work centres on acting and producing. Their experiences illustrate that international success can develop through different routes, but both involve long careers, large audiences, and constant public attention.
For readers who like paired profiles, this article follows the same approach as another paired profile on NewsExamine, comparing two prominent figures separately rather than inventing a connection between them.
Are Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra Related or Working Together?
There is no reliable public evidence establishing a family relationship between Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra, and no confirmed direct collaboration between them has been established in the publicly available information reviewed for this article.
- They have not released a song together.
- They have not announced a film, show, or tour together.
- The documented connections are: “APT.” (Bruno Mars and Rosé), Priyanka’s public comments about that song, the BLACKPINK concert, and Priyanka’s 2016 “Uptown Funk” stage medley.
It is important to distinguish a comparison between two prominent people from a verified relationship. Names appearing together online do not necessarily indicate that the individuals know each other personally or have worked together. Any article claiming a Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra collaboration, without a named source, should be treated as speculation.
Why Are Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra Searched Together?
People often search for two famous names together when they think something happened between them. In this case, the trail is easy to follow: a famous song, a mother’s interview about her daughter, and a concert video shared on social media.
Online articles and search results can also place individuals together because they share a broad subject, such as celebrity news or popular music. Such associations do not necessarily reflect a direct connection.
For readers researching these names, the most useful approach is to examine each person’s documented career separately and rely on credible information before accepting claims about a collaboration or relationship.
Conclusion
Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra have developed influential careers through different approaches to entertainment. Bruno Mars is known for his music, songwriting, and live performance, including “APT.” with Rosé. Priyanka Chopra is known for her acting and producing career, from Miss World 2000 and Bollywood to Quantico, Citadel and Heads of State.
Although their names may appear together in online searches, no reliable public evidence establishes that they have made a song, film, or project together. Their significance in this story lies in a shared song in family life — “APT.”, Malti Marie’s morning song — not in a secret collaboration.
If a future Bruno Mars and Priyanka Chopra project is ever announced, it will be news precisely because nothing like it exists yet.
